About the KRVIA Library

The Kamla Raheja library has a collection of total no. 10+ comprising of books, periodicals, report, maps, drawings in the areas of architecture, cinema, history etc. This library caters to the needs of students, faculty, and research fellows from KRVIA as well as outsiders. The library operations were computerized in 2006 through Libsuite software. The Windows version of Libexnet was upgraded to Linux version with Koha software for all the library operations and OPAC for access to the library catalogue on the web. The library has digital library (DSpace) to provide full text access to all the e-resources available in the library.

KRVIA library has very good reference materials including Books, Journals, Newspapers, portfolio, maps and building accessories etc. which are to be referred in the library only.

A digital archive (DSpace) of library resources is being created to aid academic activities. For example, in-house publications, student and faculty’s work, Maps, drawings etc. which are accessible only on intranet. 

Outsiders or visitors are allowed on Wednesday and Thursday only on submitting on their I-card and authority letters from their respective colleges. The library can be used by them for reference only.
